We would like to wish all our supporters and friends a happy and prosperous May Day!  Traditionally this is a day where people of a Socialist persuasion come together and celebrate their stance against greed, poverty, war and discrimination, and Left Is Best is proud to count itself among that number.

Also importantly, today there are local council elections happening around Wales.  Use your vote and use it wisely.  Ideally, if you can, a Socialist/Communist/Respect/Green candidate is recommended.  However, today should also be an excercise in keeping the likes of Tories and the BNP OUT of local politics, so also consider putting your cross next to Labour or Plaid Cymru, or even (whisper it!) the lib Dems if it  means denting right-wing chances.
