DAN ELEKTRONIKE 09
REVIEW

For the third year in a row, on the 9th of May, Križanke and club InBox hosted some of the leaders of the electronic dance music scene. A great crowd of electronic music enthusiasts filled both stages of Križanke and both floors of club InBox and made Umek's 33rd and 1605's 3rd birthday a day to remember.
In the last three years, Dan Elektronike has become a well-known traditional dance music event that brings together world's biggest audio and visual artists and its main purpose remains the promotion of electronic dance music, as one of the most important motive powers of pop culture in the last twenty years. Apart from the main star of the event, Umek, guests were kept on their toes by the Iranian American Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinii (a part of Deep Dish), Israeli Shlomi Aber, a master from Tuscany - Alex Neri (Planet Funk) and a bunch of other foreign guests. However, this year the electronic music celebration was marked by the appearances of young Slovenian upcoming artists that have recently crossed the national borders and successfully entered the global dance music scene.
The audio part of the program was supported by an amazing visual performance of VJ Rasta and many, truly unique, visual designs, prepared by another traditional supporter of 1605 Music Therapies, the Subtotal team.
The whole Futuristing Music team would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that came and helped make this event unforgettable! See you all at Disconautika '009!
