The San Diego Museum of Art and the San Diego Asian Film Foundation
present "Shadow Magic," a story about the introduction of the cinema in
Beijing, China in 1902 when a young portrait photographer befriends a
newly-arrived Englishman with a projector, camera and plans to open the
Shadow Magic theatre.
So bring a blanket and your picnic basket for SDMA's annual free film series, located on the lawn adjacent to the Museum.
Screen on the Green is made possible through the generous support of Lynn and Phil Gildred.
