I have a whole new appreciation for Mos Def now!  From the new issue of 'Rolling Stone':

Q: You created the band Black Jack Johnson in 2001 in response to rap rock.  Did you hear that Limp Bizkit reunited?

"Why would you listen to [Limp Bizkit] when you can listen to Rage Against the Machine, and get a dope MC and a killer band?  I was angry at those groups because I felt they were trying to absorb somebody's cool.  It's like I invited you into my house, and you come in and say, 'Let me show you around the crib.'  This is not your crib!"


Also, check out Keeping Crescent tomorrow night (Sunday, June 14th) at the Howlin' Wolf!  We should be on around 7:30 or so, after the Battle of the Bands, and the show is FREE!  Gotta love that!
