besides the fact it didn't go anywhere, the artistic value is immense. I especially like the hidden faces. I see faces in everything anyways, so I can relate already.

Thank you for the feedback: you are the first, & I appreciate it very much. The narrative should pick up rather quickly-- as this is only the first page (of how many, we shall see..), and is intended more to set the mood for what is to come.
Any hidden images are actually not intentional. Half-way through inking the bottom panel I did purposely change the first window's layout to showcase the probing "eye" at its center. It could be a rain spatter, it could be an eye, I leave it to the reader to fill in whatever pattern their mind demands. Strangely enough, at one point I was going to have a head peering from the well, but found it was simply too distracting.

~Slings of Arrows~

I like, particularly the coloring and subtle usage of tentacle-imagery, or is that just me?

There are exactly 8 major and 27 minor tentacles dispersed throughout.;) I'm glad to pointed this out, as they were not planned. Perhaps the guiding hands of Cthulu was behind this? Er, guiding tentacles, I should say...

Perils in working from memory, chapter one:

I want to thank Manny for pointing out that my title "The Shunned Housed" was actually from a different Lovecraft story than the one this is adapted from. I guess I came somewhat close (there is HOUSE in the title, after all). Thankfully, I have not completed the title page yet, and will fix accordingly!

Yepp ! - looks great - I also love hiding small "odds" in my stuff - it´s a sort of extrabonus to the one who maby find it - Like MAD magazines Sergio Arragones small "happenings" somewhere in the marginals - genius !

Have fun and Yes - were Friends now !

Sergio was the man! I actually had the pleasure of meeting him back in the day (I think it was for a signing of the first Groo Graphic Novel). A complete gentleman, putting up with all us snot-nosed kids! Anyways, I'm trying not to put too many 'odds' in the piece (now that the ideas is in my head very firmly), as it could lead to a total OCD explosion ;)
