Our day starts with a yawn and a sleepy smile to welcome what's to come for our day we welcome the the experiences and anticipate the unknown. That's how today started getting up early heading to the airport arriving at my destination and going about my day.

I called a friend today to check up on one of our mutual friends that I hadn't heard from for many weeks, which was unusual, on the other end of the line I heard ringing in my ears "he was ambushed and didn't make it out" I stopped because my friend is indestructable not a scratch and never lost a man in dozens and dozens of battles. Saved thousands and gave to those who had nothing. He always said "I'm good I have the best team around me don't worry". Not just a man and not just a Marine but God's child and a selfless giving and wonderful person. I'm so sad for his family.
