You know, back at the end of the Great War, the war to end all wars, you know, the one before the second world war, Korean, Vietnam, countless others that I don't even know of it was decided we should remember what happen and never let it happen again.

I checked up on how many wars were on right now and and found this website: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/war/index.html

Gloomy huh.

It just seems that there's nothing you can do to stop it, but it seems right that we should honour those who have given up their lives for a better future for us so we can play about with our guitars, mess on with the internet, read books, drink beer and choose friends.

OK, my point:

On 11th November it's Armistice Day and at 11am I want you all to shut up and think about those people who have died for you.  Don't just shut up, think as well, think about them, people's brother's, fathers, cousins,. uncles.  Remember them and their deaths, then tell your children so it can never happen again.

But it will.

My brother wrote "Kiddie" based on the letters from a man in the trenches during world war 1, the war to end all wars. To help everyone remember I'm going to allow this track for free download all through the week starting now and finishing on Sunday 16th November.  It's only just been released on Anorak so that's pretty exclusive.

I've bought my poppy, get your own.

When is this hell going to end?
