It was quite a surprise to see a message on the indiepop-list stating:

Series Two Records Volume 4 (CD 3)
will include a song from each of the following artists(note this record contains songs from artists that have released singles on Cloudberry Records):

So it seems there’s this new upcoming 4 CDR compilation (how pretentious! seems like a major label boxed set -what a profitable idea!) and one of the CDs includes only groups that have released something on Cloudberry. No problem with that if the bands were happy to be included sharing a song. My concern is that this CD is being promoted with the Cloudberry name.

To start I don’t support this label. It doesn’t represent any of my ideals (and the international pop underground ideals). On the other hand, as I said, I do support the bands and I understand their willingness to have their songs out being shared with other audiences. BUT I, as Cloudberry, don’t feel happy being associated with Series Two and their compilation at all. I don’t plan to start a fight or a silly telenovela but I do want to make sure that you know Cloudberry DOESN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO with this compilation.

Don’t Stop Indiepop!

I thought it had something to do with Cloudberry to be honest, and we're on it.
My only concern about the release is that you as a band has to pay to get a copy of the record you're on. Never seen that before, and I wouldn't pay to get a record that I'm actually on.

Eggnog Records

Sorry Roque, I have to disagree with you on this one. Chris is a great guy and I can assure you he is not pocketing any money from Series Two Records. And I also have to disagree with you when you say it isn't run with the same ideals in mind as Cloudberry. And I am also not sure how this is anything like a major label release.
