Greetings followers of Shilloo, we hope that this second edition of our newsletter finds you happy and well...

The past month has been an important one for us…we've worked on some new songs, played a couple of gigs and planned some other things for our future.

Thanks to all who came to last month's gigs:

The Storm at Naasha on the 10^th March, where we played alongside The Retrophytes and Areola Treat.  The atmosphere was great and we played a set of 9 original numbers (including one in French), which we think went down quite well with the audience.

Live@Luxol on the 17^th was also a success; we played a mixture of originals and covers and for once had very decent sound, which helped people appreciate our music more.  Thanks to all who braved a wet St. Patrick's Day to come and listen to us play.

We have been kindly asked by MMSA (Malta Medical Students' Organisation) to play at their annual ball, which will be held at Eden Lodge in Zurrieq this year.  Tickets cost Lm7.50 and include an open bar (so you can appreciate the music better), finger food (so you have something to munch on between songs) and, last but not least, us playing a varied set of originals and covers (so you can feast all your senses at once).

Wednesday 25^th April

Rocking Wednesdays at The Alley

We'll be starting off the night with our set, and we'll be followed by the REM Tribute Band.  Entrance is free, so be sure to take the next day off.

Plans are underfoot to record 2 songs at the end of this month, but have yet to be finalized…we'll keep you posted.

We've issued a few threats of mild violence to our web designers, so the website's launch is looming closer on the horizon.

:: finally… ::

Don't forget that you too can be an owner of a Shilloo's Tree sticker, which we are kindly giving out free.  Just ask for one at the next gig you attend.  There should be two colours available by our next gig…exciting, innit?
