One of my favorite scenes is when the three young men (each in an outrageous costume) are sitting around THE table (central piece - one of the only pieces of reality, actually). Each of them take a moment to fan open a book and randomly read a paragraph. Brillant! It was just what I needed to hear that day!
...the queen gave the precious necklace to the commander in chief as a sign of her affection for him. The commander in chief did not share the same affection for the queen. He had his eye on a prostitute. So to show his affection for her, he gave the necklace to the prostitute. The prostitute did not share the same affection with the commander in chief as he had for her. She felt affection for the king so she gave the necklace to the king. The king did not feel affection for the prostitute. He did accept the necklace and gave it to the commander in chief....!!!!!!!
