Hello dear friends and mutants!!!

I've lagged on my blogs lately.  But for good reason...I used to write about the happenings of my bands (Epoch & SongQuest).  But now that both respective bands have their own MySpace pages,  I've decided to do all the blog updates for them there.  I'll reserve my personal site for important info like, what kind of pizza I had this time and what's up with the smelly funk coming off my shoes?  I'll still mention some stuff about the bands, but the major details (for whoever is interested) can go to our MySpace sites for updates.  Just look at my two top friends on my friends lists, SongQuest and Epoch.  Ok so now having said all that...hehe both bands are doing well and recording oodles of new material.  So lots of goodies coming in the near future.  The main between the two bands is that in Epoch we've decided to keep with a hard edge (Prog/Metal) and in SongQuest we've remained totally experimental changing style and sound for nearly every song.  Check it out, there's pictures & music & stuff. 

So over the Labor Day weekend I finally finished my CD of acoustic pieces for guitar and voice.  17 songs total and some of them actually pretty good.  I plan to take the best of them and try them out with the bands and see if they stick.  Most of the themes for this set of tunes evolves around my warped facination for mental hospitals.  Don't ask...I have no idea why certain themes flow from my head.  I just know when the muse comes a knockin it's time to start trackin.  I might post some of the songs on the SongQuest page at some point, otherwise you'll have to ask me for an Mp3 if you want to hear a sample.
