"Expert" is what Bizzart's business card should say. -Stephen .R

A. Arellanes, Art to his mother, Teacher Art to his student's and Bizzart to his friends.

Mixing a fine variety of sound experimentation, Child development and improvised composition. Bizzart is a creature of natural creative instinct mixing free jazz, R n' B, Noise, Music Concrete and performance art Hip-Hop into a progressive frontier. As we have known him for nearly 13 years as Bizzart. He has made it through some hard of times in his life. Speaking of the unfortunate tragedy of the unsolved murder of his father in 1996. During that time A. Arellanes took to his roots as a young Hip-Hop performer in his adolescence. A vibrant Hispanic kid from L.A. did take from the streets with brief mentorships from Zulu Gremlin and Poison of the world famous Rock Steady crew. Growing up in Downey, Pico Rivera, Alhambra, Bell, Monrovia and Azusa cities around Los Angeles. As a dancer Bizzart took housing, martial arts, boogaloo, popping, locking and breaking to the street's and formed many association's and took part many street battles with dance crews such as Freak Show, Zulu Youth, Up Rock, Swing Kids and High Point. This was in 1993-1998 time when the term "Groover" stood for Bizzart's style and culture.

The side of Bizzart that seems to stun everyone is that he was ordained a Deacon at age 17 in an Orthodox church just one year after his father's passing. Fortunately this led to the mentorship of unknown Pop locking legend William "Smiles" Brown. Notably known from his days in Venice Beach and the film "Breakin 1 and 2". It was through this friendship did he explore his talents as a producer, writer and vocalist. In 1999 friend and mentor Chris Schlarb [Asthmatic Kitty] asked Bizzart to be their first artist on the imprint "Sounds are active". During the course of the next few years did Bizzart become part of the Hollywood spoken word scene and become an avid promoter for some of L.A's best venues such as The Knitting Factory, The Echo and The Roxy. Sharing the stage with such acts as Awol one, Yarah Bravo, Lyrics Born, Subtitle, 2mex, Phoenix Orion, Health, Abe Vigoda, Ming and Fs, Baseck, Atmosphere, Soul Junk, Create[!], Acid Reign, Shape shifters, Captain Ahab, Aceyalone, Bus Driver, Deer Hoof, Melt Banana and members of the L.A.F.M.S.

Today A. Arellanes, Bizzart, Teacher Art is a Pre-school educator at Cottage Co-op nursery school in Pasadena, ca, an activist for many social injustice's in our country and a self proclaimed music therapist. Now a recently accepted staff member of Los Angeles's highly inspiring youth program "J.U.I.C.E". He has plans to tour in support of his latest record "Future Stars and Small wonders" as well as curating installation art exhibits throughout the country previewing many of his forth coming recordings and theatrical performance's worldwide.
