Hey everyone!! As you know I've been extremely busy writing, recording, and performing... and I'm happy to finally let you in on some of the things I've been working on!! I Still Cry is a demo produced by my future bro-in-law Billy Adams. I would love to get some feedback from my fans about this song. I absolutely love it, but whats MORE imporant is that you love it!!

I wrote I Still Cry last summer. I was inspired by a few relationships that I've had. You know that guy or girl everyone tells you you're too good for? Yeah, that relationship, or relationships, where no one quite understands what it is about the person that you love so much?

Well, after having my heart ripped apart more than once, I still held on. Even after I knew he wasn't at all the right man for me, I still could not forget him.

Sometimes it's easier to hold on, then to deal with the pain of letting go. I got tired of hearing people tell me that "I should be over him".  How do you put a time limit on forgetting about someone who once had your heart?  I say its okay to miss someone. Its alright to reminsce about someone you once loved. Its okay to CRY. It's alright to talk about him/her. And its even alright if you tell the other person you're not over them. Doing these things helps you get over someone.

Don't let anyone tell you when you should be over someone, because that is up to your heart to decide....

Thanks for reading my blog, and please, give me your feedback on the song.. or even share a similar experience or relationship that you've had!

love yas!

Lyrics in song and music is a way to begin the healing process Juleah~ I believe this a GREAT SONG because it expresses emotions that are REAL and SENTIMENTAL~I guess you can call me an ole-fashion type of guy. Well that makes sense since I'm soooo old....:>) RJ

About two months ago, my daughter (16) and her boyfriend of 16months broke up after she discovered he was doing a lot of things behind her back. She was devastated. It has only been through her relationship with God, that she is just now beginning to heal. I don"t know how many times I've had to defend the offhanded remark, "She's young...she'll get over it." I don't care if you are 16, 20,25,45,65,80 or 100, when you find that someone whom you love has betrayed you, and doesn't love you the same way you love them, it hurts, and it hurts bad. Part of the healing process is to look back, and learn from these relationships. It is up to your heart to decide when you're ready to move on.

Yep, it's true...I've watched you struggle through a relationship or two and time is a good healer but God is the best Healer of broken hearts....and He can use your pain to help others work through theirs. Your song will encourage others. And it sounds GREAT! (Thanks for your help Billy!)

I still cry was the first song I heard when I visited your website. That is what made me add you to my friends list because I absoultly loved the song. I heard it and was amazed and knew you had an amazing talent. I myself love to write songs but I've never been able to write anything like that. I envy you girly but at the same time I am cheering for you all the way and I hope you make it huge one day.
You deserve it!! Keep up the good work!!

Love Ya Girly,
Carrie
