yo! huge thanks to everyone who came out to the show on friday! it was our first show since this summer, and it felt sooo good to finally play again after 2 months off. and it felt even better to finally play some new material for everyone. our friends in constants, if these trees could talk, and beware of safety were all incredible, and it was so rad to have that many good peoples under the same roof for a night. mylene sheath fest '09. it ruled. big ups to finks at blue nile and everyone that was a part of the show.

those who were at the show might have noticed that timmy tim skirven and us have parted ways. we still love tim to death, and are incredibly thankful for all the help he lent to the band when we were playing together. he's one of the world's greatest dudes, and anyone who has met him can attest to this. i'll be starting up a new project with him soon that we're both real stoked about, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

as for gfe; we've been writing a lot, and are real excited about the future. what comes next for us? a split album? a 7" record? an EP? a lot of things are up in the air right now, but just know that you will be hearing new recorded music from us sooner rather than later. we'll announce what the plan of attack is as soon as we have it all figured out. look for some more fall VA shows to be posted and some east coast tour dates in the winter.
