On the day we played in Ft. Collins, it was as if a prophecy had been fulfilled. I will get into that later. First, the show.
We played at the Aggie Theatre, I like this spot, it always goes off, and Monday was no different, great crowd! Even before the show, I had mentioned in a Tweet that I was hoping to get into New Belgium Brewery, but I didn't make it. During the gig, I poured a Fat Tire and one of the owners, Zak, happened to be in the crowd. After the show, Zak had a few of us back to the brewery for a couple rounds of beer! I was like a kid in a candy store, thank you to the homie for the hook up and for being such a good host.
Off to Boulder, one of our homes away from home. The Fox Theatre is a mecca, the stage has been blessed over the years with good music and the energy is always on overdrive. There were lots of familiar faces and a lot of new listeners too, I feel like some of our most memorable shows have been in Boulder, thanks fam. It also turned midnight and the crowd hit me with a birthday song, dope.
Off to Salt Lake City, one of our other homes away from home. We played at the Urban Lounge, the first venue we ever played in Utah back in the day. The show was awesome, we have a true connection with our SLC peeps, and I was lucky, I got another happy b-day song. Shout out to Pure Presure and USG. Big up the homie for the birthday cake, the whole crew was very appreciative.
Last night, Boise, The Knitting Factory. I woke up on the bus and it was parked in a lot across from the on ramp. What the #@#$. I finally figured it out, with some help, and got to the venue. I like this club too, big stage and good layout, and good catering. I was stoked on the turn out, full room, good vibe. Jetted right afterwards for Bend, slept through the night, woke up at 6:30.
Long blog, sorry, hopped up on coffee, jittery fingers.
Have a good weekend my friends, be safe.
