After many years of various Trios, the new Band is a 4tet, with the fabulous Jean-Paul Brodbeck on piano. The album, released end of April 2008, is a new chapter for me.
Some of the music, especially the song Earth Mountain, is influenced by Joe Zawinul. (Earth Mountain, translated to German means: Erdberg. this is the Viennese district, he grew up in)
I enjoy to be surrounded with the density of the piano, a pleasure I have almost forgotten. Our tour starts soon and I cant wait.
