You are Saffron! The rarest of the rare, you are mysterious, elusive and completely intoxicating. You effect everything you touch and more, when you enter a room it is like throwing a stone into a still pond. You're not even sure why you have this effect on people, and even if you did you wouldn't tell. Secretive and tempting, everyone remembers you, even if they only met you for an instant.Saffron is the rarest and most expensive spice in the world. It is made up of the dried stigmas of the saffron croucous and each strand must be harvested and dried by hand. It takes 75,000 strands of saffron to produce one pound of the spice. However, the flavor and coloring power of a single stand make it possible to use the spice sparingly. It is most commonly used in Indian and Middle Eastern dishes.
