On a different note... we rented "The Golden Compass" and I was a bit disappointed. I'm glad I read the book first because the movie left out a LOT of information that was vital to the story, not to mention they scrunched up the timeline of things really really bad! Have to admit tho, I am LOVING the fact they have Sam Elliott playing the part of Lee Scoresby - couldn't have chosen a better person and look forward to watching him in parts 2 and 3, if they choose to continue this. I hope they do a better job of keeping closer to the storyline in them as well - because this is so reminiscent of "Eragon" (the movie vs. the book) that it's just "sad".
