Current mood: calm
So anyways, I went to the Slipknot and Machine Head concert on Friday night. I was waiting in the enterance line talking to these dudes that were druggies and shit, surprisingly they were really nice and humble. When I got in, I walked straight to the merchandise stands and stood there for 20 minutes talking to some high dude, I bought me a Machine Fucking Head shirt.
Then I waited in the mosh for MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!! While I was waiting... I looked up towards the backstage, and who do I see? JAMES ROOT!! The rhythm guitarist of Slipknot, so I yell out to him "JIM ROOT!!" he looks over and fucking smiles. It was heaps sick hey!! :D
Anyhoo... I got owned in the mosh. Getting punched/elbowed in the head is not fun... Neither is getting squashed and having your feet stood on lol. That hurt a lot. I sang along with the songs and chanted "MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!" for ages.
Then Intermission came for them to pack up Machine Heads set, and set up for Slipknots. So I stood there in the mosh talking to fellow Slipknot fans, we had fun talking and chanting "SLIPKNOT!!" When they came out I went nuts, just like the crowd.
Now, the Slipknot mosh was fucking hardcore shit. Crowd surfers like every 20 seconds, fucking punk circles, punching, kicking, headbanging, jumping and everything. It was fucking insane!
After the concert, my throat was fucked, it sounded like I was having constant testes lol... My arms were sore as shit, my legs were sore as shit, my head was sore as shit. The concert was fucking awesome!!
