Hello Everyone,

We are extremely excited to announce that in August we will be going on tour with The Flaming Lips.  This is a bit of a dream come true for us and we're still sort of shocked that this is actually going to happen.   We started the band in 1999 and we spent a lot of time hanging out together and listening to The Soft Bulletin (which remains one our favorite albums of all time),   Anyway, we will be joining them in Denver, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Boston.  Please go to the shows page at www.explosionsinthesky.com to find out all the details.

We'll also be helping to celebrate the tenth birthday of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival.  This will be happening in the UK from December 11th through December 13th.  You can find out more at www.atpfestival.com

Also, we will be playing in Portland, Oregon on September 17th with our good friend Eluvium.  We haven't played in Portland in a couple of years so we hope to see some of you there.
