On the last weekend of July 2009, the grounds of Covenant Village (a 405-acre camp outside of Flintstone, MD) will play host to the Common Ground festival, a diverse musical experience, bringing all kinds of performers from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the Virginias together with guests of all ages in a family friendly environment.

Join us on Martin’s Mountain. Bring your friends, or your group, or just find friends here. There will be music all day, on two stages, including an open-mic, so bring your instruments! Although we are just off of I-68 and the grounds are fully furnished, we are still deep in nature. Take advantage of the skill sessions to learn about edible plant identification; home, urban and square-foot gardening; sustainable home and business practices; or skip the sessions and just rock out! There is plenty of room. Check back often as we finalize the schedule, and participate via our blog. See you in July!
