Body: This is the fourth annual Birmingham Metal Festival,hosted by Birmingham Metal label – Meltdown Records.
The Fest's have gone from strength to strength over the past few years,with some amazing bands such as VIKING SKULL,MISTRESS,BENEDICTION,LAZARUS BLACKSTAR,CONQUEST OF STEEL to name a few,have played.
Meltdown aim to put on high quality multi band,low priced shows – for the fans!!
The shows consist of the live performances,but also host metal markets/stalls,a compere between acts – so you know whats coming.Prize draws etc..........There's never a dull moment.
This years Fest is going to be the best yet!!With an inflation busting price of £10 for an advance ticket,a new venue – THE ASYLUM!!,and a stack of awesome bands.
We usually have 8 bands,this year we have 15!!!!!!!!
TAINT – Rockin' Clutchesque rockers from Wales headline this years event,and promise an awesome set.
HELLBASTARD – Thrashcore crust legends have reformed.
These guys are legends!!Were heading for infernal darkness!!
I AM COLOSSUS – Birmingham heavyweight DOOM band.
These guys are going to be big!!
SLIT – Pantera/Death metal esque thrashers from Malta – on a Euro tour.
Cool!!!!
SLAB – Progressive thrashcore from Birmingham's finest.
SEVERED HEAVEN – All female death metal band from up north.These girls are ferocious.
BLACK CESAR – Instrumental rockin' stoner from Chris from TAINT.This is a highlight.....
GODSIZE – Sludge a rolla hardcore from Stourbridges finest.......
BASTARD OF THE SKIES – Blackburns answer to old style Neurosis.

REDEMPTION UNNAMED – Awesom metal from down south.Very cool indeed.
