I think I've got just enough time to post a new blog before I eat some food, hang up the washing and cycle into town...

Well, anyway, exciting developments (... as I sit here listening to Mark Kermode's film review of Fish Tank)...

we're going into the studio on Friday this week to record our live set which is very cool because we'll actually have recorded versions of hello tokyo, rain, at the club, new year and god knows what else - basically as much as we can fit into the day...

This is good because it means not only will we have songs on myspace but we can cut a single / ep and start promoting it at gigs which is good for the people who like our music (which at this point is about... oh, say... 5 people...)

PLUS, for me I've achieved a childhood dream; or will do this week anyway, when we play the Camden Barfly in London.

Growing up listening to music - I loved the fact that when I moved to London (all the way back in 2001) that it was the premier venue for bands of the indie variety for me. I saw bands like Brendan Benson, Urusei yatsura, listened to sets by Adventures Close To Home (Choaf I'm thinking of you ... and Dave and Will)... and generally have seen awesome, awesome bands there - including another point of reference which I love - I think an episode of Spaced was filmed there. (the gun slinging one...)

Anyway, I'm sure its idealistic to think we'll ever make a major impact there - but to be able to play there is an absolute honour and I know our 'five' fans; and the 72 people that have upped our page views (...since I last looked) will appreciate this because one: they've bothered to read the blog and two: they love music, gigs and life....
