CLEVELAND’S OWN RASPBERRIES TO DONATE MEMORABILIA TO HARD ROCK’S WORLD FAMOUS COLLECTIONOrlando, Fla., March 26, 2009 – The “Rock ‘n’ Roll Capital of the World” will be buzzin’ with excitement as Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland hosts a special appearance by Cleveland’s premiere rock band, Raspberries. Eric Carmen, Wally Bryson, Dave Smalley and Jim Bonfanti will come together on the Hard Rock stage to donate autographed drum heads used while shooting theDVD Raspberries Live On Sunset Strip; a limited edition lithograph of the band signed by each member and tour posters from the band’s reunion tour to Hard Rock’s world famous memorabilia collection, further immortalizing the band’s place in rock history.
Since reuniting in November 2004, Raspberries have played a limited run of shows across the country to tens of thousands of fans, including “Little Steven” Van Zandt, Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Stanley, Max Weinberg and others. The band is currently promoting their special edition 2 CD/DVD set Raspberries Live On Sunset Strip, released in July 2007 to rave reviews worldwide. Almost 40 years after their formation, Raspberries continue to entertain loyal fans, making new fans and impressing both peers and critics along the way proving that they are stillchampioned among the most influential bands of the rock era. In addition, the Cleveland cafe will be offering a limited-edition Rock and Roll Hall of Fame commemorative pin, with proceeds benefiting the organization.
