Youth Correspondent Kurt Vinnedge reviewed the Downtown Library show in today's Free Lance-Star, here's what he had to say.

"Last Friday at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library's downtown headquarters, three bands hit the books.

Even though "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was coming out in just a few hours, it didn't stop teens and adults alike from showing up for the 5:30 p.m. free concert.

¡Carlos, I'm Pregnant! opened, giving the crowd the usual solid performance. With their happy sound and band members' continuous position switches, their show always stayed interesting. Caving to pressure, the band played their best song, "The Happy Song."

Next up was Humungo Ginormous, a band with many quirks. However, they weren't bad things to have. The strangeness added something new to their music, described as "acoustic nerd punk"--which meant funny lyrics to downright crazy songs. Titles included "Gangster Dinosaurs" and "Incognito Burrito."

Ginormous' lead singer kept the crowd entertained with his erratic (the only word to describe it) dancing. However, this wasn't bad either. The band kept the show running and added a different flavor.

Last, but not least, was Atomic Raygun Attack. Opening up fast and furious, ARA's set was probably the only time you will ever see a mosh pit in the library. Adding even more to the experience was a pink unicorn on a stick, complete with light-up horn, that a fan brought. With their punk/ska sound, ARA energized the crowd to the breaking point.

Fredericksburg All-Ages' ever-increasing list of great shows always takes away some of the summer doldrums. Be sure not to miss Ra Ra Riot and two other great bands Aug. 5 at The Wounded Bookshop."

Erratic? That's so close to erotic. We've got to keep working so we can get to that point. Sexy dancing here we come!
