The mission of Mama's Community Love (MCL) shall be to put on numerous fund raising events, such as concerts headed by the organization’s founding band, Mama’s Love, as well as other bands interested in our cause throughout the UGA Campus. With the money we raise, the benefits shall go to appointed community service groups. These organizations will use our donations to battle the poverty that remains within our city. We also plan on joining forces with other student organizations that need our help in the future.

As an active member of Mama’s Community Love, one must respect and honor their community in which they live. Each member must be willing to sacrifice the time and effort needed to raise awareness for the poverty that rests in the streets of Athens. Every member shall have equality in sharing ideas for the cause. Membership shall be limited to regularly enrolled University of Georgia students, faculty, and/or staff members. There will be ways to gain service hours through this program. We accept any student with a GPA over 2.0. There shall be no form of membership dues.

Overall we plan on making Athens a better place by spreading good music and awareness throughout campus. Together we shall keep Athens enriched with beauty.
