Good Lord Almighty was "Crash" good, I will be a future Film Major, but I dont think anyone can pull of this kind of movie again. It took some huge race issues and sterotypes, put them all in THE melting pot called Los Angeles (HOMETOWN) and watched the chaos ensue, and oh boy...did it. Crash is filmed in that Pulp Fiction style of starting at a point in the movie where some huge event has already happened, but the movie is a flashback, or "rebuilding" of itself to show the audience how and why the movie began the way it did. Truly a great homage to the style, but also adds a truly pecant way of telling a story about people, you truly can identify with every character thrown at your face. Almost all ethnicities are present, but mainly the ones that are most popular in LA, aka Asians, Middle Easterns, Latinos ( ME!), Caucasians, and last but not least African Americans. If you have ever had a racist thought, or know someone who is a bigot, please watch this whenever possible. I connected with this movie a whole lot, more than I can say mainly becuase everything that happened on that camera, I related to since growing up in LA I was around that kind of stuff CONSTANTLY, perhaps not as dramataziced as Crash was, but the situation similarities were uncanny. Especially with the Latino section of Crash, very familiar, as well as a lot of the other stuff that plays out. I dont want to give anything away, becuase its such a good flick, but go on and watch, delve in the magic that is "Crash" rated R: Strong Language Sexuality, Viewer Discretion Advised...Fuck it watch it anyway, make your kids watch it too, and if you dont have kids take your whole family, that oughta cover it.
