Do you want to take the first steps to Recovery?

Are you aged between 14-25 and need help with your eating disorder?

If you are looking to start the recovery process and feel that you would like support with this, beat the leading ....UK.... charity for people with eating disorders is re-launching the online Recovery Club service following its successful pilot. The monthly club will run for a monthly period of six months enabling young people to benefit from the support of their peers and to feel comfortable discussing their concerns and fears about treatment and the recovery process.

The Recovery Club service will offer online peer support to young people with eating disorders through a monthly facilitated club. Hosted by young people who are recovered or recovering from an eating disorder and professionals working in the eating disorders field, the Recovery Club will provide a support service that will enable service users to explore the recovery process, acquiring skills and strategies, to begin their own recovery.  Each club will have a theme to enable service users to discuss different issues and aspects of eating disorders and the recovery process with the support of a beat youth team.  The club will begin this September and an application to access this service will be going live on the beat website on Wednesday 9th September 2009
