I grew up watching & being entertained by watching t.v and movies. So I'm a certified couch potato I suppose. I don't sit in front of the t.v for endless hours stuffing my face with potato chips or anything though. But I do enjoy a good show.
Not too long ago, someone told me that they don't like t.v. (shout out to Jess) I was kind of shocked. There's at least something interesting on t.v daily. It's like watching someone else's life. Whether real or fictional.
Even more recently, someone told me that they hate movies. (shout out to Steph) That was way more shocking. I can sort of understand not being able to find something that interests you on t.v. There's only a certain amount of channels & things are on at certain times. You might miss the really good stuff. And I can understand hating made for t.v movies, I suppose. But movies in general? There's some great stuff movie haters miss.... Shrek, Shark Tale, Ice Age, Meet The Robinsons, Finding Nemo, Cars, Grandma's Boy, Analyze This & That, Wedding Crashers, Meet The Fockers, Rookie Of The Year, The Sweetest Thing, Love Strinks, A Christmas Story, Scrooged, Goodfellas, & many many many more. Watching a movie is like a good escape from reality for about 2 hours. It's kind of therapeutic. I can understand not going to the movie theatres. But movies at home? Or with a friend? Movies are awesome. I just don't get it. Maybe those people that don't like movies have movie A.d.d or something. I don't know, that's my only explanation.
