Back in New Jersey this weekend. Spent most of the day Friday (not counting the 17 hours of driving through subway-terrorism-threat traffic to get from NY to NJ) singing in various groupings. Cheri and Pam ... Cheri and Chris ... Pam and Matty ... sometimes all four us around one or two microphones ... sometimes all four us around a bowl of vegetarian dumplings or soy dogs. We did all the vocals for six songs in one day, which is a new world record for us. Today, Saturday, we're rocking the guitar and the keybs, with occasional breaks for Ron Churchill-induced harmophone or, um, wait, Ron just "heard" a 17th guitar line for "Love of My Life." Which is what we're paying him the big bucks for.
