Much in the same way that GREASE would inevitably become an Arena Spectacular, and TRANSFORMERS toys would become awful films, so too must TUMOURS mutate into TUMOURS UNLEASHED: two days of performance, revelry and tambourines with streamers.
Joined by a host of friends, RIPPING DYLANS will be spreading the spirit of Nicks, McVie and Buckingham in both Melbourne and Sydney.
For their Sydney show, they will be joined by the oh-so-special TALONS, who be massacring the hottest hitz of THE BEASTIE BOYS, including cuts from ILL COMMUNICATION. Needless to say, we cannot wait to hear what the fuck that will sound like.
Also joining the party will be PREMIUM CALCULATOR, whose assembled Micro KORG orchestra will reenact highlights from NIRVANA'S 1992 album IN UTERO. Calling it, naturally, 'In Rectumo'. Righteous.
The Melbourne show also promises to be a behemoth. The DYLANS wil be joined for an afteroon of poptones by THE BEAT DISEASE, THE ORPHANAGE, THE TOOT TOOT TOOTS and, wait for it, there's gonna be a free sausage sizzle. Fuck yeah.
The band will also be swinging by Geelong and the Pony 2am slot to play their own (admittedly less epic) songs.
Go on. Indulge that misplaced nostalgia. Break the chain. Stop thinking about tomorrow.
