Well I finally got a new computer, so I am posting. After we got Heather’s cousin (who works in Best Buy corporate) involved they finally junked my laptop as a lemon. So last night Heather and I got to go to Best Buy to pick out a new one. They gave us $1300 in store credit. I decided not to get another Toshiba and got an HP. On the other side of my life I am going to be Seaman (Yeoman) Jonathan Richman by the end of the month. I went to the military processing center a couple of weeks ago for my physical. Because I failed the color vision test I do not qualify for the nuclear program. That really sucks because I would have been banking. $10,000 just to sign and then $3000 a month just to go to college. That would have been nice. So now I will just be a reservist in the navy. I am really excited. I get to spend 17 days of the summer in Great Lakes, Illinois for Basic Training. There is also a slight chance still that I will be a Chaplain’s Assistant. If I do that then I get to do training with the Marines so that I will get more extensive combat training and some medical training. Either way I will enjoy my new job.
