What a great day.  I was at the golf course today reading "Think and Grow Rich" about DESIRE, and having a WHITE HOT burning Desire.  How you won’t let anyone or anything get in your way.  I also remember a year ago I was walking around Camarillo with the "Breakthrough in Health" magazine trying to put it into Chiropractors hands.  Needless to say that was NOT successful, so I’ve burden myself with an anchor that it doesn’t work to approach chiropractors and I stayed away from them.  Especially since 4 of them told me no and to keep my magazine. 

Today I decided to let that anchor go.  I thought wow, our top recruiters of the year for 2007 were a chiropractor and his wife.  I should try to recruit them.  I spoke with Janine and Michelle about this and worked on an idea of what to say, and then put it together in my head.  Thanks for your feed back Janine.

I ripped the band aid and went to yellowpages.com and found 8 I could call before office hours were over.  The network marketing gods were going to challenge me right at the beginning.  The first one I found said on her website she would take calls from anyone, no matter the question.  Boy I was afraid too, but I thought ok if she’ll talk to everyone then this should be a good.  One problem, I forgot about a secretary that might answer the phone.  Of course one did, and she was the gate keeper.  Here we go. . .

I asked to speak to the doctor and she said, WHO ARE YOU?  I muster up DESIRE and say "I’m Brian, who are you!"  She said I’m Kathy what do you want to talk to the doctor about.  I’m thinking now if I say Health this, or drink that, from the ocean that I will never get to speak to the doctor.  So I asked her a question, "Doesn’t it say on her website that I can call and ask her about anything?"  This totally throws the gate keeper on balance, I feel victory creeping in.  She pauses and says…"Oh yea, it does…hold on I’ll get her."  Yes VICTORY!!!  I beat the dreaded gate keeper and got to speak to the Dr. who was very enthusiastic about a new product.  I just spoke to her from my heart and she said she would love to know more.  I gave her my website and told her that I would call her back tomorrow to answer her questions.  She said great, I look forward to it.

I did it, I did it…I was so excited that I now knew nothing could stop me.  Out of the 8 names I found I connected with 4, had two FAX machines answer, one was closed on Tuesday and one Doctor had to go but asked me to call him back tomorrow.

Now I have four professionals in my pool that could be the first Double Diamond in the company!  That is my success for the day and wow did I do some growing too.
