Greeting Dancers.

Hope you are all well.

It’s been a while since Mr Siano tore the place apart at the last Stay Free party…………

We’ve been trying to get this on for the last 6 months or so and now finally we’re ready to dance again.

It therefore gives me great pleasure to announce that our dancefloor friend from the London Loft party………..Colleen ’Cosmo’ Murphy is our next guest.

Cosmo is one hell of a busy lady……… not only does she run her own successful club night ‘Cosmodelica’; she is a director of Lucky Cloud Sound System that has established the quarterly London Loft parties with David Mancuso; has her own record label Bitches Brew; is one half of the production team Wild Rumpus and has an extensive background in radio broadcasting.

Phew I’m worn out….

Those who came to the last party will surely agree that there is no better place in Manchester to host Cosmo than that of The Dulcimer and no better speakers than the Klipschorns to complement the Cosmodelica sound

Her sets are a reflection of her geographical and musical roots that find themselves standing somewhere between the post-disco of New York and the sharp-edge of London. Cosmo's skill at linking the past with the present to create something altogether more edgy is not completely uncanny given the fact that she remains a protégé of both David Mancuso and François Kevorkian, being one of the few guests at both the renowned Loft and Body & Soul parties.

Anyway to dig deeper into Colleen's world, click on the links below for more info, music and mixes.

Hope you all can make it and it may be wise to book the Monday off.

Keep On & Stay Free. X
