Update from The Road!!!
Wow! What a crazy first couple of days life back on the road has been! We started out in SB, kicking off the Tour with our boys in OneSideZero!!! Bad ass show! Check out that band If you havent yet... we'll be playing much more with them in the near future! After the SB show we booked it to Las Vegas... At about the half way point our Bus was given a harsh jolt into 3rd gear while going up the hill and then kicks back into 2nd... Freaked out, we pull the bus over and decide to give it a rest as it was late and we had been workin her hard. We wake up the next morning, and the same problem occurs... determined to make it to our Las Vegas date we bumb rush it to Las Vegas in 2nd gear!!! With all the Bottled up agression we have due to the bus's problems we take the stage and rock the utter shit of the ppl in the club! A big Thank you goes out To Summer for her hospitality as well as all the cool ppl and bands we met! We got kicked back into reality when we realized our bus needed to see a mechanic... but its a Sunday in Las Vegas and there is not one to be found... So what better to do then cause mayhem on the STrip... all I can say is it involved a Magic carpet ride lol... Dont worry, pictures and VIDEO on the way!!!!
Monday hits and we take the bus into the mechanic after a long ordeal due to AAA being complete dumb asses!!! Weve had nothing but trouble with those cats, Oh well... life goes on. The Mechanic then gives us the horrible news that not only do we have a major leak in our radiator but we need a new transmition... we got a second opinion from another shop who said
the same thing!!! At this point things feel hopeless... Yet We are more determined then ever to find someway to Continue this Tour and not roll over and quite cause things get tough, as we've seen SOOOO Many bands do!!! So we turn to Jason's dad for help (who happens to be a car salesman up in Las Vegas... can someone say fate!?!?) Who is able to get an incredible trade in for the bus. And puts us into a new van converted RV!!! We'd like to introduce you to the new member of Fermata!
