With six years, sixty thousand records and hundreds of gigs to their name, pop-rock outfit Elemeno P have proved themselves as one of New Zealand's favourite bands. After locking themselves away in a self-built basement studio at the base of Mount Eden, the band have emerged with a fresh new sound in the shape of their forthcoming third album set for release in March 2008.
Warming up for their 15 gig tour of New Zealand in December, Elemeno P took the stage after what has been a brief hiatus recording their third and as yet unnamed album.  Fans had been queuing up since 4pm outside 4:20 on K Road in Auckland patiently waiting for a chance to hear what the band has in store for their early 2008 release. Fresh off the plane from mixing the album in London the band treated fans to a best of and exclusive glimpse of the new songs, with the highlight being their new single 'Baby Come On'.
The band were in high spirits and the new songs hinted that the coming year may just be their best yet! The set also featured Dann letting loose on some of the most energetic fast paced drumming we'd ever seen! Overall, if there's a better band out there on the live circuit, they're certainly keeping a low profile!
The band stayed around after the show to meet and have photo’s with fans and sign the exclusive free Elemeno P screen printed posters. It was an intimate night with the band that is sure to be remembered. Be sure to come back and check out the exclusive video footage which will soon be available.
