It has been another successful year for Nesian Mystik with their single 'Nesian 101' making it to the number one spot in the New Zealand charts, so it goes without saying that MySpace NZ and their fans were very excited when the hip hop outfit agreed to do an exclusive all ages MySpace Secret Show. The show was a celebration of their follow up single 'Dance Floor' and the venue, the Grey Lynn Library Hall, could not have been more apt providing a vibe reminiscent of a school social complete with fizzy drinks and break dancing.

The night started off with friends of the band performing for the crowd.
First up was a solo act St.
Jenera with a beautiful soulful voice and professional dance moves which made everyone's hair stand on end. He was followed by Waikato four piece 2PS who proved they can cut a soulful tune and impress a new crowd.

Nesian Mystik took the stage with a mix of old and new songs displaying their signature soulful harmonies, scratching and guitar lines. It did not take long to prove to those who hadn't seen them before that they not only surpass excellence with their song writing ability but also with their stage presence and live harmonising. With the show staged in their neighbourhood library hall and the band posing for photo's with fans after the show, Nesian Mystik put on an intimate show fans are sure to remember.
