hey crew!
just wanted to let you we've started really working on songs for the next CD. actually, the next 2 or 3 CDs i should say. heh, one's just an acoustic guitar instrumental CD i'm putting out (jeremy). the other two are going to be packaged together. that's the general plan at the moment.
like i said before, taking motion is going to try to be a diverse group. we started here as an acoustic-based duo and we are working on the rock band side of it. in addition to that, some of us write electronic music and have friends who do as well. so in our recordings, we want to offer a little bit of everything. why? we love it all! it's all fun and interesting stuff. music is an expression and an opinion. we're gonna show you that you don't have to stick in one genre, especially if you have more to offer than that. to us, all styles are interesting. i personally get bored as anything if i don't do different things. life is much richer than we make it out to be. so the proposed 2-CD set will have a largely acoustic-based portion, and a rock-based portion, and well, whatever we decide we're happy with! win, win!
so in the coming year this means you'll be able to catch us playing concerts in different forms as well. we're gonna try to be fitting for whatever the venue is as well. but don't be surprised to hear someone saw us play a loud rock show and another heard a 4 piece chill acoustic group. heh.
catch you all later. :) jeremy
