Hey guys and gals...we are working on some really cool new ideas to get some of our new songs out to you guys [one of which includes MORE FREE MUSIC], but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you on a couple of things. If you would be so gracious as to answer these questions for me in as much or as little detail as you see fit. You can leave it as a comment, or send it to me at calebrowdenmusic@gmail.com.....which ever one floats your boat is fine with me.

1-What makes you say 'Man, I have to go out and get that record'.
2-Do you buy more music online [iTunes, Amazon], at music stores, or at live shows.
3-Does the CD you're buying HAVE to have 10 songs on it??
4-What kind of bonus features are you stoked about when they come with a record you buy?
5-If given the opportunity to download FIVE NEW Caleb Rowden songs for free, would you download them and immediately tell the whole world about it so they might also be exposed to the pure bliss of free music?

OK...that last one is optional, but would definitely love to know your thoughts on this. There are no right or wrong answers. We are just trying to figure out the best and most efficient ways to get new music into your hands. You are helping shape the future of Caleb Rowden Music. This is not a task to be taken lightly...this message will self-destruct!

Peace.

Well, Caleb:
1. I go by a lot of things, past albums, sound and sometimes just plain curiosity. In your case, I heard a song I liked that we used in our fitness class for Body& Soul, so I had to find the album.
2. I prefer to buy at local stores, but have bought online.
3. No, the CD doesn't have to have 10 or more, but that is better. But I don't like it when people put out an EP first, then put out a full album & include all the same songs! So if I buy the EP first (cause I don't know the full album will follow), then I have to find a way to get the added material without buying the album.
4. Sorry, I don't really look for bonus stuff.
5. Yes, I'd definitely take the free downloads & tell my friends about this cool new music I'd found!

Hope this helps! I'm still looking for your latest "Until Everyone Is Free"! Can't find it in the stores by me!

Blessings!

1. When the lyrics show me that the artist has a deep knowledge of God not of the things anyone could know but the things one would only know if they had a personal relationship with Him. Also, if there are live worship songs where the worship leader allows the crowd to carry the song, always beautiful. And if the songs lead me into the presence of God. I love it when you can feel the annointing in an artist's music.

2. Amazon.com or Mardel Christian Stores.

3. No, it doesn't have to have 10 songs on it but I think it's a good idea for it to.

4. CD/DVD extras like videos, behind the scenes, Oh and I think it's a great idea to tell people why you wrote the songs. I find myself wondering what people were thinking when they wrote their songs. I have vowed to try my best to do that when I start recording because I know how much I've wanted it in the past.

5. I do think giving free music is a good idea. I don't know about 5 songs. Especially if there are only 10 on the CD. But maybe one or two and then some snippets :)
