so here i am again,
writing about another break.
so i am now going to attempt to recollect what i did on all the days during spring break.
so bare with me if i forget anything that i did with you,
haha

friday: march 21, 2008
i finally turn 18.
thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, and the cards and what not.
definitely do appreciate it all.
after school my car battery decides to die on me,
so i had to wait for my mother to come get me.
then my dad finally comes home from work,
and we go to this asian auto-shop
where my dad is homies with everyone.
new battery in the car, finally.
bought my first lottery ticket with my dad,
but obviously didn’t win, haha.
went out to "i luv sushi" with:
alex, girl alex, kevin reyes, kevin giser ( i had to pick his high ass from the gas station, hahaha), kendra, josh, alexandra, cody watten, paige, and kyle
and it was a wonderful time as well.
later that night hung out with ren and arik.
bought cigarettes for the first time,
but not for myself, i promise. =]
saturday: march 22, 2008
costa mesa active/the lab
on the way up had a Gorillaz session
went with hytrek, cameron, and ren.
bought my new favorite jeans ever.
3 shirts. 2 for me, the other for cameron.
and a pair of sunglasses at urban outfitters.
night of my birthday party.
thanks a bunch to TK for throwing it at his house.
the party was awesome,
i had an amazing time.
plenty of good people came,
that were all seniors =]
i remember a couple of days during school,
i’d made a list of people to come,
cause i didn’t want his house to blow up.
but in the end,
thats what happened to his house
but fuck it, it was fun, haha.
i remember right before the party got big,
tyler and i went to his next door neighbors house
to talk to them and let them know whats up
and this old guy comes out
(who is actually mrs.lindahl’s husband)
and talks to us, everythings cool.
then the dogs start barking and they hit the door open.
and homeboy freakin has a bong in his hand.
he drops it and says, "oh FUCK"
tyler and i say, "oh shit, we’re sorry. we just wanted to come let you know we’re having a party for his 18th birthday"
and he goes, "fuck it, go have fun."
and i remember tyler and i just running back to his house
just laughing at what the old guy.
and then had an awesome time at the party.
couldn’t have asked for a better 18th birthday.
and i’m glad i’m getting good responses from it too.

sunday, easter: march 23, 2008
didn’t really do too much at all,
lunch with the family.
hung out with: nay nay nate, cale, kai, scott and cameron at straw hat
and called it a night from there.
monday: march 24, 2008
i remember i began the day hanging out with kevin at the house
not really doing much,
and then i come downstairs,
and my brother goes, "hey we’re going to morongo, wanna come?"
and i thought to myself, "shiiiiettt, i’m 18."
and said "hell yeah i’m downnn."
"first we’re going to cabazon."
"alrighty sounds good."
i remember just before we left,
i had already freaking lost my glasses from urban
so i was quite bitter on the drive up.
and on top of that,
my ipod headphones decided to crap out on me,
and only one ear started to work,
so i became a little more bitter.
but when i got to cabazon,
i was able to grab the same pair of glasses that i had from urban
just with the slight change of the red lines, to white
so i was pretty stoaked about that.
we got there by like 2-3ish?
don’t really remember
then we got to morongo by like 5ish?
and it’s actually right down the street.
get inside and i’m immediately hit with the overwhelming scent of cigarettes.
i only went in with 15 bucks and my ID in my pocket.
we go straight to the slots
watch my brothers friend alan lose but win 2 seconds later.
and immediately we get carded
homeboy security guard looks at my id and goes
"just barley made it eh?"
and walks away
and i was thinking
"chyeahhh, thats what i’m talkin’ about"
anyhow,
only games i ended up playing were
slot keno,
and virtual roulette?
for like 5 minutes
i was up 10 bucks.
but then i quickly lost it
and ended up leaving with 5 bucks in my pocket
i was pretty over it after that, haha.
the drive home was pretty bad,
i fell asleep
but woke up in long beach, sweating
cause i was wearing my black "i luv sushi" shirt
and some grey pants
and it was just blehh.
got home by 10ish.
and just showered and called it a night.
tuesday: march 25, 2008
day starts off going to the beach around 1130ish?
went with kevin
and aaron and jasmine were going to meet us a little laterr.
i was the only one to go out in the water
and shit,
it was freakin’ cold
and soooo not worth it.
i come back in and aaron and jasmine are already there.
spent about 2 hours just laying around and kickin’ back.
and it was a cool relaxin’ day.
then around 7, i get a call askin’ to come over to gabby’s
but i already made plans to go play poker at david’s casa.
get to david’s around 720ish
and lose 5 dollars.
leave around 9
and left my car with aaron so he and arik would be able to get back home
and kevin and i head out to gabby’s
i decided to make it a sober night,
cause i knew kevin would be drinkin’
it was a good time,
got there and everyone was pretty much smashed already.
i played the piano for a little bit,
and emily joined me in a duet of No One, and White Houses.
and gosh,
her voice is absolutely amazing.
even though the piano was wayyy out of tune,
her singing brought back everything together in harmony.
while playing White Houses i forgot one of the bridge parts
so i had to cut our session short,
so i was really bummed out about that
(sorry emily! i re-learned the part though =])
thennn, i had a "quality time" with sara beck
before she was going to go off camping.
and it was quite funny cause her and bridget told me how bitter they were
that sooo many wilson people were going to SLO
and how they wanted to just be alone so they could go off and meet new people themselves hahaha.
before the night was over,
i partnered up with kevin to play beer pong,
but made him drink all the beers.
i actually did quite well.
sank about 2 shots in, and one bounce shot.
but in the end we lost.
about 12 ish we all got kicked out
but it was definitely a pretty laid back night as well.
then when kevin and i got back to my house,
aaron and arik met up with us to kick it a little bit.
and then arik and i decided we wanted to do a mission to either:
pho thanh, or lee’s sandwiches.
so we called up japes, ren and benny.
kevin and aaron peaced out a little after they came over
then i drove japes’s car while
arik, ren, and jp got baked.
and got to say,
it was some funny shit
cause me and benny were the only ones sober.
and on the drive up the other high ass nigga’s would be freaking out about
"pot holes" they saw on the street
or other things that were "crossing" the street
ahahah
we decided to get pho instead
cause ren was sick, so we thought it’d be better for him.
and it’s like 2 in the morning when we finally get to pho thanh.
and mannnn,
arik and i were thoroughly embarassed of ren
he was just causing a mockery of all the asian people around us
(but who could blame him, he was baked. ahahaha)
but aside from that we still had one hell of a time.
came back into town around 230 and went to the donut shop
by hole mole
and i was in bed by 3
wednesday: march 26, 2008
started the day hanging out with arik and kevinn.
didn’t really have anything to do
so we just went to chronic taco’s
and there arik proposed the gnarly idea of going go-karting
(since we didn’t end up going to six flags like we planned)
and before we went,
we went to active
so i could spend my "25 dollar active bucks"
(which inconveniently wasn’t valid till the 30)
and i ended up getting a lifetime colective t-shirt
and a $110 grnappletree jacket
for $20 bucks
(that’s whats up!...
maybe that’s why they call it "what up wednesday" haha)
go back to arik’s house to chill and wait for aaron to meet up
there we find directions to where speed zone is and all that jazz
aaron shows up a little buzzed
with kevin doggin’ on him already
haha
"half a beer down, and i’m already buzz"
(a billy ballew pun/reference for all of you who don’t get it, hahaha)
we finally get to speed zone after a gank of traffic.
and we get the unlimited pass for 40 bucks
4 tracks,
but 3 only worth riding.
first track was the "grand prix"
which was whack, cause you didn’t race against anyone,
you had to go one by one to get the "best time."
then we did the drag race
and i freakin’ owned that one
got first place all 3 races.
then we did the slick track.
and fuckk that shit was gnarly.
about the 2nd lap
i got hit from behind and spun out
and then 3 fuckin people hit me from behind
and made my glasses fly off my face and land on the track.
luckily they were behind my tire,
but like in between the cart.
its hard to explain
but i just freaked out,
took of my seatbelt and grabbed them as quick as i could.
turbo track was the 4th and last track
but it was probably the best one
cause it was like slick,
minus the drifting (obviously)
at first i would try and brake to follow the line racing,
but after about 2 laps,
i wouldn’t let go of the gas
haha the first time we did it,
i got like 3rd or so.
then we went back to drag,
and i blew it and only got first the 2nd race.
then our last race was at the turbo track
and i came behind from 4th place
and passed up everyone
with arik coming in second
and definitely after the night was over
it was well worth it.
thursday: march 27, 2008
i remember kickin’ it at the house till about 230ish
then i left to it’s a grind around 245
and i met up with megan brown before she got off work at 3
and brooke and catie met up with us a little later to kick it with us as well,
and then we stayed there for about an hour talking until i finally went back home cause catie had to leave
and megan wanted to clean up/go shopping
then chris and i missioned up to sterling art in irvine
to try and get some ink to start printing our shirts.
but we had no luck finding the right ink
but we got some info about some silkscreening place called mclogans?
then later that night i met up with megan brown and catie again.
and while we were driving back to megan’s house
megan was feeling sick and pulled over randomly on woodruff
and just puked
it was freakin’ gnarly, and soo unexpected
and it was awkward
cause she immediately just felt fine and calm after it happend
i was just like, "uhh..alright? hahaha"
we go to her house,
she takes some medicine and i hang out in the living room with her mom and her sister
who were really nice to this random asian kid that walked into their house, haha.
we leave to taco bell to meet up with catie there
and we get all hyped up about wanting to go tagging
but in the end
me, catie, megan, chris, trent, jake, and madison went to the hookah bar in downtown long beach
and it was funny cause only catie and i had our id’s
but everyone else"forgot theirs" or werent even 18
so as we walked out,
the guy came out saying
"yo, it’s cool come back in"
so we all piled back in there
and ordered: mint, white peach, and superman
but apparently my superman order translated into "sex on the beach," the mint turned into a flavor called "bloody tampon" (which actually wasn’t that bad) and we actually got white peach.
we got there at 10 ish,
but didn’t leave till around 130
cause we refilled the white peach and bloody tampon later that night.
and it was just a cool and relaxing night to add to spring break.
friday: march 28, 2008
the day started off with my dad, brother and i going to the shooting range
off the 91 in artesia
at this place called "insight indoor shooting range"
and it was a pretty good experience
i was able to bring a target back home that i shot
with a shot to the head,
and one dead in the chest
(funny thing is though,
i took three shots at the target,
and only two ended up showing up,
hahaha)
then i went down to cerritos mall
to try and get my sidekick lx at the ritz camera store.
they only had brown,
which i didn’t want.
but luckily for me i wasn’t able to upgrade cause my dad wasn’t there.
then later that night
kevin and i go to matt mckinney’s house
and so the usual guys there
along with rachele and marilyn
it was fun,
but i also promised chris, catie and megan that i’d hang out with them that night too
so kevin and i left not too late in the night
and went over to brooke’s house
we get to the house
and the people there playing ghetto beer pong
with an aluminum foil "ping pong ball"
then later in the night we all decided to play partner king’s cup
it was:
me and emily,
madison and jenny,
megan and chris,
and kevin and brooke.
we played two games and it was wayyy funn.
after the last game everyone was pretty hammered
so then we all kinda hung out around the living room
and then chris and i ventured in the back house
and saw that brooke had been hiding the back room
with a gnarly entertainment center
soon everyone joined us
and we decided to put panic room on.
everyone peaced out of the room to crash,
but kevin passed out on the couch
while emily and i were watching panic room
(well mostly me, she was too scared, ahaha)
then randomly kevin "wakes up" and sleep talks/sleep walks
and starts kicking emily and i
and we’re freaking out
(i mean we just watched panic room,
so we’re already tense as hell)
then before we leave to not have kevin kick us again
we do the garden state
"BALLS" across the forehead
and doodle on his face.
we go into the other guest room and talked for about 4 or so hours?
and it was just a good heart to heart conversation.
late late friday into saturday morning
then around 530ish,
i realized she fell asleep
so i go outside and watch the sunrise,
which was a pretty gnarly sight.
i come back to bed around 6ish,
and fall asleep
waking up around 815ish.
i go inside the house to see chris crashed out on the couch
i clean up a bit
waking him up
but then i go back outside to lay in bed.
then i get a phone call from kevin
(who is in the other room in the back house)
and his ass is still buzzed/drunk
and he just lays on the floor and talks gibberish to us.
emily gives it away and tells him he has writing on his face
so he ends up washing it off.
around 9ish we all end up leaving
i dropped chris off,
and kevin decides to wait at my house till 10 so his parents wouldn’t be home
(and keep in mind, his ass is STILL drinking)
he plays some smash as i’m online looking for a phone off craigslist.
he finally leaves by 1020ish
and i just go down to my bed and crash
waking up later at 530 in the evening.
and then i just decided to get out of the house and
try and go out for the last night of spring break.
saturday evening: march 29, 2008
last night of spring break,
i was able to get my sidekick lx a little earlier in the evening
then towards the middle of the evening
i was hanging out with a bunch of people at montana’s house
but then i ended up meeting up with catie and chris
at simone’s donuts to then plan another hookah trip.
we thought it would be nice to spend the last night relaxed,
at a more legit hookah place.
it was around 10ish
and chris and i decided to walk around down main street
to wait for catie to finish up her errands and meet us down at the hookah lounge
and it was nice to be able to walk around late
and not be hassled by cops
=]
then we finally went around 11ish,
and got a flavor called "starburst"
which was actually quite gnarly.
it was a good time
cause we all discussed the clothing company situation
and all that jazz
it was nice getting feedback from someone outside of the whole operation.
chris and i ended up peacing by like 130
cause catie left a little earlier than we did.
we walked around the fountain around 2ish
and just had a good talk.
peaced out by 230ish and crashed when i got home.
even though i didn’t really have that exciting of a "last night of spring break"
friday was good enough for me.

then later i get a call that rachele and katlin need a place to crash
so they came over around 2 ish
i grab some blankets and pillows and leave them on my couch,
and i left the door open for them to come in
cause i was gonna hop in the shower
i get outta the shower and see katlin laying in the couch, smiling
and then i see rachele in my bed smiling as well.
we talk for a bit about how their night went
and then we just ended up passing out
(they were actually teasing me about writing this blog,
but oh well, i wrote it anyway, haha =])
sunday: march 30, 2008
woke up around 10,
cause thats when rachele and katlin had to leave
after i just spent this day relaxing,
doing laundry,
and finishing up the homework that i put off all break.
got an iM from arik
and him and i went to hectors at 550,
RIGHT before they closed,
and we got a free philly cheese steak sandwich
which was pretty good.
came home and just went to bed.
didn’t fall asleep till wayy later that night
cause i hadn’t slept early all spring break
awaiting and dreading school the next day.
overall i have to say that this spring break was definitely better
than junior year spring break.
it was nice to be 18, right when spring break started
so i didn’t hafta worry about being busted for being out too late.
and i definitely felt like i didn’t waste any of my time
so thats obviously good thing.
sorry if this entry wasn’t as entertaining as the winter break blog,
i just wanted to take the time to document this break.
