One of my photos has been chosen to be used in an on line magazine called "Creative Image maker ". "Crative Image maker " is a film only magazine and is about being creative within the camera and/or darkroom. It is about the process of film. There is NOTHING digital in this magazine. This is a fairly new magazine. It's just beginning to develop. But, from the responses I've seen in Flickr in film group threads, I think it's a welcome development. There are hoards of photographers that have stayed with film and either shoot both film and digital or are not interested in digital at all. Many of them would like to see an all film magazine. At this point in time there is a niche that needs to be filled because virtually all of the photography magazines I've seen in print are all about digital. The photographers who refuse to give up film are somewhat frustrated with this. I started a thread asking how many people would like to see a "FILM ONLY" magazine and the response has been significant. There seems to be a large number of people that would like to see this happen. Anyway, I'm still shooting 100% film and would very much enjoy being able to read about it once again. The editor and creator of "Creative Image Maker" magazine David Vickers has expressed interest in having me contribute regularly to the magazine. Possibly in a monthly article. Being an outspoken film photographer that's well known for giving the digital guys a rough time in the film forums on flickr, I'm probably the perfect guy for the job. So, We'll see what happens. I'm looking forward to working with David and watching the magazine grow.
