Don't know how your holidays were, hopefully great, but I am officially on the wagon. It's not a resolution, more of a compromise. I'm shooting for February 1. The problem, and it's not really a problem per se, is that I celebrated the holidays thoroughly, and while I love me some holidays, there is only so much down time and red wine I can take before I start to get punchy. So I was really happy to get back home to LA and get ready for these shows, and now that week 1 has come and gone, everything seems to be back in its right place. I figure if I can steer the ship with a clean head until then, 2009 could be prolific. But I am looking forward to falling back off.

We're doing a stripped down version of things this month and adding a new instrument or two every week. Last week was mandolin, cello, guitar and some piano, and this week we are adding the the big piano guns with the addition of Fil, who played all over Stars & Curses and killed it. After that, we get to some bass and drums..
