The Launch PARTY for Thursday Rock Live was AWESOME!!! 

The Blue Eyed Gunslingers, Karam 10 & Vinyl put on amazing shows to kick off Thursday Rock Live. 

The Blue Eyed Gunslingers went on first at 9:30 and put on a great show and really got the crowd moving.  Karma 10 took the stage next at 10:30 rockin the house and even threw in a Van Hallen cover which kept the bodies rockin!  Vinyl rounded out the night at 11:30 as they were jamming all over the stage and had an awesome crowd cheering them on!  Between sets DJ Chris O kept the crowd rockin with some great tunes. Jaime Kaufman from DreamSeats stopped by to giveaway a couple tickets to the Indians vs. Reds game in May, which was given away to a lucky fan.  Jay Hammond from Blue Moon recording, Ben Dils from Columbus Alive, and Jaime Kaufman from DreamSeats were the judges for the launch party of Thursday Rock Live.  After the judges handed in the scores, and the dust settled upon TRL, the first week winner was Vinyl.  The scores were very close, and all the bands deserved to win, however there could only be one winner.  Vinyl will be returning to play the April finals on April 26th.  The winner of the April finals will then return again to play the TRL finals in July as well open for the Violent Femmes at the Lodge Bar concert series this summer in July. 

The Jim Beam girls were out and about giving away FREE samples and shots of Jim Beam Black, and Kentucky Apples.  As well giving away FREE Jim Beam shirts, hats, and other goodies!!  The guys from Budweiser joined in the fun and were giving away lots of FREE Budweiser gear as well.

Fun and great times were had by all!  The night went off beautifully and I would like to thank everyone involved for making the Launch PARTY of TRL a huge success.  Huge thanks to The Blue Eyed Gunslingers, Karma 10, and Vinyl.  As well to all the sponsors: Jim Beam, Budweiser, Relay Recording, Blue Moon Recording, Columbus On-Location Recording, Columbus Alive, DreamSeats, CD 101, Music-Go-Round, and Columbus Metal Management.
