What:   The Desk Set presents, "Writer/Reader Mingle & Book Swap" An informal gathering for conversation and a book swap!
When:   Monday, March 30th, 7-10 pm
Where:  Pacific Standard, 82 Fourth Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn

The Desk Set is proud to announce that the following writers are planning to drop by: Jami Attenberg, Cathleen Davitt Bell, Gabrielle Bell, Stefan Merrill Block, Amitav Ghosh, , Phillip Gourevitch, David Gruber, Melissa Kantor, Wendy Lee, Larissa MacFarquhar, Matt Madden, Maura Madden, Honor Moore, Rob Sheffield, Sara Varon, & Adrienne Maria Vrettos. And there's a chance that , Francoise Mouley, David Rees, Esther K. Smith , Art Spiegelman, Lewis Warsh, and others might be in attendance.

All writers and readers of this great city are invited to bring their old books,
swap 'em for other people's books, and have a drink and/or a chat with like-minded folks. All writers and readers are invited, so please invite your friends.

Leftover books will be donated to  Books Through Bars, conveniently located right next to Pacific Standard. BTB fulfills requests for book from prisoners all over the country.

Fantastic author/illustrator, Sara Varon designed the flyer, and lovely archivist Sarah Gentile is putting together a special play-list for this event!
