Hey guys,
we have a ton of updates for you all today!

1. First of all we are finally excited to say that our music video for Perfect Day is being premiered over at absolutepunk.net.  Here is the link:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWCh3PVJXO0  so please check it out.  Also remember you can purchase it on i-tunes and find it on our youtube page (youtube.com/thestatusrock) next tuesday (OCT 27)


2.  We hit the studio yesterday with our friend Sid from the band Yearling (myspace.com/yearling) to record our EP that is scheduled to be released in DEC which is not far away at all... we'll have more updates to come in the next few weeks and will most likely be broadcasting from our stickam page this week from the studio, so add us over there!  (../thestatus)

3.  New Tour Dates coming up tonight!!  We have a ton of dates being planned for the beginning of next year, but after NOV we'll be home all of DEC writing for the next record and taking just a little time off, so if were coming close to you in NOV, please come hang out!

4.  As some of you may have heard, or if you were at our Atlanta show last friday night, Andy will no longer be in the status and that was his final show in our band.   It's been a long, fun road with him being in the band, but he has decided to pursue his studies at school and simply wouldn't  be able to tour with our band anymore.  There's not a whole lot to say about this, other than it's just something that happens.  The four of us have been best friends even before The Status and will continue to be so.   There are absolutely no hard feelings between any of us, and like I said we'll continue being the best of friends.  We hope you'll show your appreciation to Andy on his myspace, facebook wherever you might be friends with him.   We are going to be taking Billy Burke from The Prospect (myspace.com/theprospectfl) who we've toured with a couple times this year to replace Andy in November and for the time being.  Please keep spreading the word about our band, it's been a good year, but we believe it's only going to get better from here and honestly are more motivated and inspired than ever.

This is more than just about Me (ben), Danny, Mike, Billy, Andy, it's about a community and you all are a part of it, so thank you for your support, don't think we don't need it and appreciate it, cause we do from the bottom of our hearts!!
