Finally, after all these weeks we now know where Harmony James' horse has gone. It's at the top of the Australian country music charts!

Somebody Stole My Horse, the quirky second single from the Northern Territory based singer-songwriter, has spent 10 weeks in the Country Tracks Top 30 and is now at 1.

Harmony's first single, Tailwind, which got to 7, has propelled her all the way into the finals of the 2008 CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia, where she is a finalist in New Talent of the Year.

"I am so thrilled to have a number one song on the Australian country charts," Harmony said. "It wouldn't have been possible without the assistance of radio stations across the country, who have been so supportive of me and my music. Anything else that may now happen in Tamworth is an absolute bonus."

Her distinctive and quite unique vocal style will be heard for the next week or so around various venues at the 2008 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

A graduate of the
CMAA Australian College of Country Music, Harmony has also won the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, with Tailwind taking out the country section.

Harmony is a finalist in the 2008 TIARAs and in six categories of the Victorian Country Music Awards.
