Thanks to everyone who came out and saw the Early Elton show at The Bitter End featuring myself, Rich Pagano and John Conte--it is always nice when the only real complaints are that we didn't play long enough! Hey, the show is a labor of love and we were not entirely sure we could hold an audience for longer than an hour with such a Era-Specific-Neo-SensitiveSinger-SubGenre-PianoPowerPopPersonalIndulgence show.
Thankfully, we were wrong--and how to admit it? Another Early Elton show added for Monday, July 29th. Same $10 cover. Same attention to Soul and Detail. Same stage at New York City's famous The Bitter End. All of the same songs--but.. quite a few new ones added to the setlist as well--a little Eltonian Bonus for the faithful and complainers (!).
Setlist from the May 27th at The Bitter End:
Jeff Kazee- Piano & vox
John Conte--Fender Bass & vox
Rich Pagano---Drums & vox
1.TAKE ME TO THE PILOT
2. SON OF THE FATHER
3. LEVON
4. BORDER SONG
5. MY FATHER'S GUN
6. GREY SEAL
7. AMOREENA
8. MADMAN
9. COUNTRY COMFORT
10. BURN DOWN THE MISSION
Hey, have a look and listen for yourself at what this is all about:
Thanks to Carl Scheffel for filming it in HD, editing and posting it for us.
