Due to the fact that our new E.P “The Swell” is starting to feel like the wait for “Chinese democracy“, we have decided to have an advanced release of the single “Don’t Free Your Ego”!

Following the good feedback we’ve received from its several plays on Red Fm and Today Fm we’re giving people the chance to get their hands on it from the 18th of December on http://www.downloadmusic.ie/machismo . All it takes is one minute and 99c credit! However, we are also aware that times are tight, that is why Machismo has generously decided to absorb the entire cost of the E.P on the launch night. Thus the cover charge of only €6 will include the price of the E.P and you won‘t pay for the same song twice! (Who loves ya baby?!)

Speaking of the E.P, “The Swell” is set to be released on Thursday 29th of January in the Pavilion with support from two giants of the cork music scene : “Elk” and “Burn Us Both”. “Don’t Free Your Ego” is one of five Songs, and over the next month we’ll be giving everyone the chance to hear a few more through the bebo and myspace page, so don’t forget to check in now and again.
