As many of you know, Kids Kicking Cancer is a charitable organization that is very dear to GERARD BUTLER. For anyone not famliar with Kids Kicking Cancer (also known as KKC), it was founded by Rabbi/Professor Elimelech Goldberg, affectionately known as Rabbi G by his students. In addition to being a black belt in the martial arts and a father who lost his first child to cancer in 1983, Rabbi G is also a Clinical Asst. Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Wayne State University Medical School. He created the Kids Kicking Cancer program after serving for 12 years as the Director of a New York based summer camp for children with cancer. His experience in the martial arts, as a spiritual leader and as a parent who can identify with other parents facing serious disease, has provided him with remarkable insight into issues facing children and families with a diagnosis of cancer.
Today, one of our wonderful sister sites -- Gerard Butler Dot Net -- announced they are hosting a fundraising drive for Kids Kicking Cancer (KKC). And since the campaign involves Gerry's patron charity, it is no surprise that he would want to be personally involved by offering some amazing prizes for 20 lucky winners.
Every $20.00 donation to the GERARD BUTLER DOT NET CHARITY GROUP automatically creates one drawing opportunity. And there are no limits to the number of entries. The prizes being offered include a visit to the set of one of his films next year, VIP passes to one of his movie premieres, own an article of his wardrobe (autographed), an autographed picture personalized by Gerry to the fan directly and the Grand Prize of A DATE WITH GERRY.
Exciting to say the least! But, more importantly, you will be supporting a wonderful organization in its efforts to help children get beyond the fear, pain and and anger of having cancer by learning martial arts as well as breathing and meditation techniques. The KIDS KICKING CANCER CHARITY CAMPAIGN will run from November 6, 2009 through February 14, 2010, at which time the Grand Prize will be awarded. The other prizes will be awarded periodically between December 1 and February 14. Please note that ALL prize recipients will be chosen by Rabbi G and his staff at KKC in Detroit, Michigan.

Second Prize - (three winners) - Be invited to sit up close and personal on a real live movie set, while Gerry is making one of his blockbuster movies in 2010. Third Prize - (three winners) - Receive special reserved seating at a Gerard Butler movie premiere. Fourth Prize - (three winners) - Get an autographed piece of Gerry's wardrobe. You can make the request of what you wish for, but no guarantees the request can be filled.
