Alright, it's been awhile since I've written anything, so here goes.

It's definitely a departure from the format of my normal shorts.  I'm getting back into writing with a piece that's a bit more 'experimental', using dialogue as the sole driving force of the story.  I may go back and tweak it a bit, but for now, I hope you enjoy and comment on the latest short story

Stephen

Yes! Thank God, yes it's about time you wrote again!
I love this short story. Especially the cell phone / break up part!
Loved it!

I think I have a few friends that talk that way!  lol....I have one I dated in high school that ended up to be gay, no I didn't make him that way, lol....but I still love him and he still loves me.  That kinda sounds like our relationship now.  (Or kinda like Will and Grace)  I liked it.  Keep writing!!

Love and blessings,

Audra

I like it.  There were a lot of emotions that I felt reading this story.  That is one of the main reasons that I like your work so much, the emotion that I feel when I read it.

Thanks
BJ

This was fantastic!  The dialogue was so real, I felt like I was watching the two characters in their conversation.  The conflict was real.  The characters were real.  The dialogue was real.  A+++++

and kudos...of course.

I liked your dialogue... you write it well.  It was just like being privvy to a phone conversation.  Keep it up!  Experimentation is good!

Oh! Ya moved me to tears at the end. A woman grieving over her illness and struggling to cope with her meaning of life on this earth.  She has unfinished business and unresolved issues and not ready to die yet.

wow!! that was great! i like to write stories, and for some reason, i've always had a hard time writing short stories, but after reading a lot of your stories, you may have inspired me to continue with my writing. This are great stories, and i especially like this one, even though it's a different style than most, it deffinitly throughs you into the characters shoes, and in this sequence, you don't need all the background, 'noise'. Deffinitly like it, good job!

The writing is great. Typically in writing workshops I recommend that people don't write stories consisting solely of dialog, because it doesn't capture the reader's imagination. I like stories that make you visualize action and scenes. However, I don't think description would have worked very well with this story. Good job.

I thought this was a very enjoyable read.  Though I would not call it a short story.  Love your work.  Thanx

Very impressive dialoge steve! Gives you the feeling your actually eaves dropping on someone. I was able to form my own picture of thier life story easily to make a personal attachment to this short. It's perfect how you make full use of a readers powerful imagination.  Keeps them thinking about it after they read it.

Hi,

Word Weavers came up with a neat/cool concept: author trading cards! You should check it out. We are thinking of displaying one authors trading card on our website in the books section for a week then passing-the-card to the next author. That way the authors get a lot more exposure.

Have a fantastic day and if you have any great advice for me or need yummy and simple recipes - please blog me.

Cheers,

Annie
